02 — Partnership model

How the
partnership works.

You continue to own the patient relationship, order the labs, and receive the results the way you do today. We handle the draw, the scheduling conversation with the patient, the specimen handoff to the reference laboratory, and the chain of custody in between.
Step 01

Ordering

You write the lab requisition as you normally would. We accept orders by secure email, fax, or an integration with your EMR (available on request).
Step 02

Scheduling

We contact your patient within one business day, coordinate a convenient appointment window, and confirm back to your practice.
Step 03

The appointment

Our Director of Phlebotomy performs the draw personally. Typical appointments run 20 to 30 minutes from arrival to departure.
Step 04

Specimens & results

Specimens are packaged to the reference laboratory's chain-of-custody specifications and transported the same day. Results flow back through your existing reporting workflow.
03 — What makes us different

Why concierge practices
choose us.

A handful of mobile phlebotomy services operate in the Phoenix metro. Here is what sets our partnership apart, specifically for concierge and functional medicine practices.
01

Built for your market, not around it.

We do not serve consumer walk-ins, corporate wellness, or commodity lab draws. We work with a limited number of Scottsdale concierge and functional medicine practices, which is how we protect the service experience.
02

Clinical tenure you can vouch for.

Our Director of Phlebotomy has 25 years of clinical experience spanning emergency medicine, surgical pre-op, forensic phlebotomy, and family practice. She personally leads every appointment we run.
03

A physician on the team.

A practicing naturopathic physician serves as our Medical Director and a founding partner of the business. He sets our clinical protocols and holds us to the standard he expects in his own practice.
04

Specialized lab relationships.

Our partner laboratory is CLIA-certified and specializes in the panel mix concierge and functional medicine practices actually order, including comprehensive hormone, cardiometabolic, and specialty wellness panels.
04 — Lab integration

Lab integration
and specimen
integrity.

The draw is only as good as the specimen that reaches the laboratory. Every specimen is labeled at the point of draw, packaged to the reference laboratory's specifications, and transported the same day under temperature and chain-of-custody controls appropriate to the panel type.
Your practice receives results through the reporting workflow you already use: secure portal, fax, or direct-to-EMR. No separate login. No new software.
Note
Prefer to keep your current laboratory relationships? We can work with most national reference laboratories on a case-by-case basis. Ask during your consultation.
05 — Service area

Where
we serve.

Vena Veritas partners with Scottsdale's concierge and functional medicine practices and meets their patients wherever they are across the Valley. Whether your patient is at home in Paradise Valley or working from an office in Tempe, we bring the appointment to them.
